Before considering whether or not it’s worth it to sign up for a Skyword account, freelance writers may first ask themselves, “Does Skyword have a lot of writing work?” It’s a reasonable question to consider; after all, it might not be worth the effort to apply if there are limited assignments. Creating just a handful of articles for dozens of websites is not an efficient use of your time–not to mention, it can get downright chaotic!
I am happy to report that yes, Skyword does have a lot of writing opportunities, ones that will cater to those with varied interests. An additional perk is that they conveniently fall under one platform, which means that you can easily track your assignments and reduce your tax reporting headaches! As a program manager for our first writing program, I can personally attest to how far Skyword has come with the opportunities it provides. We started out with just one writing program and about a dozen writers. (Everything starts from a dot, doesn’t it?) But before long, as the marketplace changed, more and more companies came to us with a need for quality content. As a result, our writing opportunities multiplied and our Skywriter community skyrocketed. We now have thousands of writers in our programs!
Today we have news and evergreen writing opportunities available for mom bloggers, DIY experts, tech pros, news writers, marketing professionals, and more. With some programs, there’s no limit to the number of articles a writer can create a month. Oh, and did I mention that we’re not only English-based? We run Spanish- and French-language programs, too. As we expand our global reach, writing assignments in varied languages will increase even further. So, expect more growth and writing opportunities from Skyword in the future.
